Local delivery and pickup

Easy Zipcode check & validate

A small, well-supported delivery-area checker for local and regional delivery shops, but the review record stops in December 2024 and contains no failure reports at all, so you are buying on 2020-2024 evidence.

Should you install it?

This is a narrow, useful tool: a storefront zip/postal code checker that tells a shopper whether you deliver to them, with enough customisation to place it on chosen pages, bulk-load code lists, limit orders to sub-state areas (3472) and hide local delivery or pickup discounts from out-of-area shoppers (4148). Every reviewer who describes the core function says it does that, and support - Pratik, then Bhushan, then Amanda - is repeatedly described as replying within minutes and doing theme fixes free. The two real caveats are evidential, not complaints: the review record has been silent since December 2024, so nothing confirms it works on current themes, and with zero negative reviews in six years and 72% of reviewers under a month of use, you have no picture at all of how this app or developer behaves when something goes wrong. Expect setup to need the developer's hands in your theme rather than a clean self-serve install (6129, 7433, 0983). If your delivery area is genuinely irregular and you can tolerate that uncertainty, the evidence that exists is favourable; treat the free trial as your real test, not the star rating.

Thin evidence. Three independent limits. First, zero negative reviews across 32 in six years means failure behaviour - breakage, billing, support under pressure - is completely unobserved, and an all-positive corpus carries far less information than a mixed one. Second, nothing has been posted in 21 months (newest is December 2024), so nothing speaks to the app's current state or maintenance. Third, 72% of reviewers used the app under a month and nine wrote within 24 hours, so most of the corpus reports first impressions of setup and support rather than whether the thing keeps working.

Right for

  • Local delivery businesses with an irregular service area (bakery, florist, food) who want shoppers to self-check coverage before ordering - reviews 3977, 4630, 2378
  • Stores limiting orders to sub-state or sub-province areas, or redirecting out-of-area shoppers to partners who can serve them - review 3472
  • Merchants gating local delivery / local pickup discounts so out-of-area shoppers never see them - review 4148
  • Merchants who want the checker on specific pages (homepage, collection pages) and styled to their brand, and who accept asking support to place it - reviews 9079, 5131, 4882
  • Small stores that value fast hands-on email support over polished self-service setup - reviews 4999, 4582, 6311

Wrong for

  • Anyone who needs current evidence the app still works on a modern theme - no reviewer has reported back since December 2024 and the listing is not Built for Shopify
  • Merchants needing real carrier rates, labels or tracking - no review mentions any carrier, rate table or label workflow
  • Stores that need enforcement at checkout rather than a storefront prompt - every review describes a pre-purchase widget, none describes it blocking a checkout
  • High-volume stores wanting proof of scale - no reviewer states an order volume and only nine reviewers ran the app longer than a month
  • Merchants who want a risk picture before installing - with zero negative reviews in six years, this corpus cannot tell you how the app behaves when it breaks

What will annoy you

Setup is not fully self-service: several merchants needed the developer to touch theme code or fix theme interactions before it worked: 7 reviews, fading, last seen 2024-06.

How the developer behaves when it breaks

There are no negative reviews in six years, so how this developer handles a public complaint is entirely unobserved - the 'reply rate to negatives' is undefined, not good. What can be seen: he replies to about half of all reviews (15 of 32), always warmly, and problems raised inside positive reviews were fixed quickly - theme conflicts in 7433 and 6129, repeated issues in 5420, config problems in 8514, and coding help offered in 0983. Support names change over the span: Pratik in 2020 (5573), Bhushan 2021-2024 (5420, 6311, 0983), Amanda in December 2024 (7913). Note that the developer reply attached to 0983 is dated August 2021 while the review text is an June 2024 edit, so it is not evidence of recent responsiveness.

What goes wrong 1 recurring themes

“The developers helped me right away to assist a small issue I was having with my Shopify theme.” review 6129

What it does well 4 themes

  • Fast, hands-on email support, including free custom work and setup help 24 reviews
“Amanda is also VERY quick to respond to anything we need.” review 7913
  • Does the basic job it advertises: shopper enters a zip/postal code and learns whether you deliver 16 reviews
“Great app, does exactly what I wanted which is zip code checker pop-up.” review 4148
  • Customisation: styling to brand, placement on chosen pages, bulk upload of code lists 10 reviews
“Very rich in features. Highly customisable features.” review 0864
  • Delivery-area segmentation: sub-state/province limits, partner redirects, gating local delivery and pickup discounts 7 reviews
“It's nice to be able to limit order to sub-states/provinces using zip codes/postal codes.” review 3472

Red flags

  • The app is installed into theme code and the developer often places it on specific pages by hand; that manual work is a dependency if you re-theme or need it moved, and it is only as available as his inbox 0983 8514 7433

Trend

There is no last 12 months. The newest review is 19 December 2024 (7913), roughly 21 months before today, and the precomputed stats confirm zero reviews in the last 12 months against one in the prior 12. Volume was heavily front-loaded: 24 of 32 reviews arrived between July 2020 and September 2022, then a thin tail of six in 2023-2024. Themes never changed - support speed and area-checking both praised in 2020 and in the December 2024 review - because no reviewer has ever reported a defect, so there is nothing to trend. Practically, this means nobody has publicly confirmed the app works on a theme released in the last two years.
