Multi-carrier labels and rates
Veeqo Shipping and Inventory
Free multi-channel label buying with genuinely cheap Amazon-backed rates and fast first-line chat, undermined by four years of unfixed Shopify gaps — order edits, returns, tracking write-back — and repeated reports of it silently corrupting inventory counts.
Should you install it?
Install Veeqo if you want a free, multi-channel label desk: it pulls Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart and Temu orders into one queue, rate-shops USPS/UPS/FedEx/DHL/Royal Mail, and reviewers consistently report real money saved, several after dropping paid platforms costing up to $1000 a month. First-line support is a genuine strength — live chat, named account managers, and an AI assistant reviewers rate well. The hard limits are on the Shopify side and have not moved in four years: order edits made in Shopify do not sync, post-purchase checkout extensions and Shopify-processed returns are unsupported, and if you fulfil via Amazon FBA or a 3PL, tracking numbers may not write back, leaving you to add them manually order by order. Treat it as a shipping tool and keep your inventory source of truth elsewhere: multiple reviewers across 2021, 2025 and 2026 report wrong counts, phantom committed stock, and unrequested stock adjustments that forced full physical stock counts. Anything that needs an engineer tends to sit for weeks or months, the developer almost never replies on the App Store, and despite the 'free' label there are recent reports of unannounced charges — so before committing, confirm in writing how order edits, returns, tracking write-back and billing will work for your setup.
Fair evidence. Thirteen years of reviews with text on all 129, and the recent failure themes are corroborated by multiple independent, long-tenure reviewers rather than one-offs. But 25 of the 36 last-year reviews landed in a single ten-day window in July 2026, almost all five-star, and a reviewer inside that window states Veeqo solicited reviews after being told the feedback would be negative — so the recent positive signal is selected, not representative, and the true current satisfaction level cannot be read from the star pattern. The corpus also spans two materially different products (a paid UK inventory system pre-2023, a free Amazon-owned shipping app after), which makes older positive reviews poor evidence about what a merchant would install today.
Right for
- US and UK stores shipping from Shopify plus Amazon, eBay, Etsy or Walmart that want one label queue and rate shopping (5796, 0884, 4021, 7183)
- Stores using it for shipping only and keeping inventory truth elsewhere — several reviewers explicitly split it that way (2201, 0884, 4348 pairs it with Finale Inventory)
- Cost-sensitive sellers replacing a paid platform: reviewers name Extensiv at $1000+/month (7127), Stamps.com (7183), ShipStation (1439, 4348)
- Amazon-heavy sellers who want Amazon Buy Shipping rates and seller protection on non-Amazon channels (2217, 7127, 4402)
- UK stores that need Royal Mail label generation and 2D barcodes (6285, 2543, 6626, 1095)
Wrong for
- Stores that edit orders after purchase — Shopify order edits do not sync, reported unfixed from 2022 to July 2026 (4943, 3931, 0322, 1172, 4472)
- Stores running post-purchase checkout extensions or upsells, unsupported since Shopify shipped it in May 2021 (4943, 3931)
- Stores wanting Veeqo as the single source of truth for inventory (1172, 7165, 9376, 2473)
- Shopify stores fulfilling via Amazon FBA or a third-party 3PL who need tracking numbers written back to Shopify automatically (6356, 1992, 5643)
- Stores needing detailed cost/margin reporting out of the box — a complaint unbroken from 2015 to 2026 (0994, 4017, 5610, 4348)
- Shopify POS retailers: one reviewer was billed per POS transaction, reaching $380/month (6081)
What will annoy you
Engineering escalations stall for weeks to months; friendly first-line chat cannot resolve them: 13 reviews, rising, last seen 2026-07.
How the developer behaves when it breaks
Only two public replies exist across 129 reviews, both to one-star complaints. The reply to 3746 (Sep 2024) promised escalation; the reply to 9376 came on 12 June 2026 to a review posted 6 March 2026, a three-month gap, and asked the merchant to re-contact support rather than reporting a fix. No other negative review received a reply, including the inventory-corruption and USPS-freeze reports. Separately, self-edited reviews are the best evidence on whether issues actually get fixed, and they consistently say no: 3931 returned after a year to report post-purchase support still absent, 8034 returned after a year to report cancelled-label scan form issues still unresolved, and 5643 reported a six-month wait ending in being told Veeqo is simply not compatible with third-party fulfilment software. Note the contrast with in-app support, which many reviewers praise as fast and reachable — the failure is escalation to engineering, not first contact.

“Veeqo does NOT synchronize order edits that occur in Shopify. You heard that right... Say a customer reaches out that they ordered the wrong color or size of something and you go in and edit the order before it's been fulfilled. What it does well 5 themes
- Cheap rates and no subscription fee; several reviewers replaced paid shipping software and cite measurable savings 28 reviews
“rate-shops every package across USPS/UPS/FedEx so we're always on the cheapest service, and prints the packing slip and label together” review 5796
- One queue for orders across Shopify plus marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, Temu) 45 reviews
“It has been very useful in compiling orders from different e-commerce platforms in one place (for us that means Amazon, Etsy, Ebay, Shopify and Walmart)” review 0884
- Fast, reachable first-line support: live chat, named account managers, and an AI assistant reviewers rate well 40 reviews
“their AI assistant is genuinely decent and it's very easy to get through to humans if needed who are knowledgeable and helpful” review 2201
- Inventory sync across channels prevents overselling — when it works 25 reviews
“Veeqo works great for syncing our FBA inventory across multiple sales channels. After issues with other apps, this one has been fast, reliable, and easy to use.” review 5538
- Royal Mail label generation, valued by UK stores as better than logging into Royal Mail directly 6 reviews
“Veeqo has made creating shipping labels in Royal Mail a dream; if you've ever had to log into RM's website to generate orders, you'll know how horrible it is.” review 2543
Red flags
- Data loss risk: the app has made unrequested stock adjustments across locations, forcing full physical stock counts to recover. Reported in 2021 and again in 2025-2026, so not a legacy issue. 7165 9560 2473 1172
- Billing surprises on an app advertised as free — one UK store says charges began despite marketing emails saying otherwise; a US store reports 'Lots of overbilling and no notifications'; an earlier store was charged per Shopify POS transaction up to $380/month. 0413 4472 6081
- Financial exposure with no remedy: a store reports USPS froze all its Veeqo labels for 'postage not paid' in October 2025, apparently from fraudulent label generation, with no compensation three months later for lost goods, refunds, reshipping or the original postage. 5686
- Advertised Amazon A-to-z protection and 5% shipping credits disputed by a three-year user as not delivered; note two other reviewers praise the protection and a third admits never having tested it. 5643 7183 2217 6901
- Long-promised features that never ship. A reviewer traces carrier-branded UPS packaging announced five years earlier and still absent, with support reclassifying it as a feature request rather than a bug; Shopify order-edit sync was put on the 2025 roadmap by the CEO in 2024 and was still missing in July 2026. 4629 0322 1172 3931
- Review solicitation: a July 2026 one-star reviewer states Veeqo asked for a review after being told it would be negative, inside a ten-day window that produced 25 of the app's 36 last-year reviews. 1172
Trend
Volume tripled in the last twelve months (36 reviews versus 12 the year before), but that is almost entirely the July 2026 solicitation burst, not organic growth in feedback. Negative share rose from 22.5% all-time to 30.6% in the last twelve months. The character of the complaints has changed, and this is the most useful distinction in the corpus. Through 2023 and mid-2024 the negatives were short-tenure setup failures — 2 days (1448), 10 days (1083), 15 days (1520), 18 days (5970), 25 days (6262), 3 months (8604) — framed as "not ready for release". That framing stops after mid-2025 (last instance 1675, August 2025), so the raw onboarding breakage is genuinely fading. The last-twelve-month negatives are a different animal: every one comes from an established user of six months to three years hitting structural gaps that were reported years earlier and never closed (4472, 1172, 5643, 8034), plus new billing and reimbursement disputes (0413, 4472, 5686) that did not appear before 2025. Two long-running praise themes hold steady throughout: cheap rates and responsive first-line chat. Two long-running complaints also hold steady across the full thirteen years: weak reporting (2015 through 2026) and slow engineering escalation.
