Single-carrier integrations

Swiss Post Label Printer

If you're a Swiss store shipping with Swiss Post, this does one job — labels plus tracking write-back — and the support answers fast; it is not a multi-carrier tool and the review record is too thin to see how it fails.

Should you install it?

This is a narrow, well-behaved tool: it pulls Shopify orders into Swiss Post labels and writes the tracking number back, and by the accounts of long-tenure reviewers it does that reliably for years — 4579 reports ~25'000 labels since 2021 with no issues, 5999 three years, 7056 and 2627 over two. The dominant theme across 24 of 32 reviews is support: fast, reachable via in-app messenger, and by several accounts it actually ships fixes (a requested change went live in a week per 9801). Known gaps, each mentioned exactly once: no full automation of label creation (8305, Sep 2025), no configurable label position on A4 sheets (2000, 2022), and no return labels as of 2020 (2225, hedged by the reviewer). International shipping was asked for in 2021 (3924) and no review since confirms it works, so don't assume it does. Be aware that this is a 32-review record with zero 1-2★, half the recent reviews coming from stores that had the app for days, so you are reading a sample that shows what goes right far better than what goes wrong.

Fair evidence. 32 reviews over 95 months, only 8 in the last 12; no 1-2★ at all and every criticism is a single mention, so there is no repeated failure pattern to verify against. Five of the eight recent reviews are short support-praise notes from installs of a month or less, and one has visibly broken tenure data (0484: '2 minutes' vs text saying they've used it a while). Strengths are well evidenced by long-tenure reviewers; failure modes are under-sampled and I can't tell you what happens at high volume, on returns, or on international shipments.

Right for

  • Swiss stores shipping domestically with Swiss Post, both parcels (Paketpost) and letter mail (Briefpost) — 2627, 4553
  • Low-volume shops: 5146 says it pays off 'auch bei wenigen Bestellungen pro Woche'
  • Steady mid-volume shops: 4579 reports ~25'000 labels since 2021 with no issues
  • Teams with non-technical staff doing the packing — 5999, 8256
  • German- and French-speaking merchants (0375 and 5516 are written in French; the rest German or English)

Wrong for

  • Anyone needing more than one carrier — every review is Swiss Post only
  • International shipping: requested by 3924 in 2021 and never confirmed working by any later review, so these reviews can't tell you whether it works
  • Return labels: 2225 (Feb 2020) couldn't find them, hedging 'oder ich hab nicht rausgefunden wie'; no review since confirms either way
  • Merchants printing on A4 sheets who need to control where the label sits on the page — 2000
  • Anyone wanting fully hands-off label generation; 8305 (Sep 2025) says full automation still isn't there
  • Non-Swiss stores — all 32 reviews are from Switzerland

What will annoy you

No full automation of label creation — you still trigger it per order: 1 reviews, steady, last seen 2025-09.

How the developer behaves when it breaks

Reply rate across all reviews is 50%, and it is lopsided: most 2018-2024 five-star reviews got nothing, then seven replies were posted in a single sitting on 5 May 2026 (8843, 4399, 4090, 0379, 8305, 8256, 2627), clearing a backlog. What matters more is what reviewers say happens after they report something. A feature idea was implemented within a week (9801); a letter-mail labelling problem was solved via messenger (2627); 4323 titles their review 'Reactive support to improve some issues in their solution'; 5999 says 'all unsere Probleme konnten zeitnah gelöst werden'; the 2022 onboarding complaint (5146) drew an acknowledgement plus a claimed fix that later reviews support. The one unresolved case is the 3★ (0097), which did get a long, specific public reply — so the 'no replies to negatives' reading of the stats is wrong; the stats simply count 3★ as non-negative.

Red flags

  • One report of being unable to reach support (Jun 2025, 3★) — a single, disputed case: the developer replied publicly that they run an in-app messenger, usually answer within 2-3 hours, and tried repeatedly to contact this reviewer without success. Twenty-plus other reviews, including all eight from the last 12 months, praise support speed. Treat as an outlier, not a pattern. 0097

Trend

Flat, not growing: 8 reviews in the last 12 months against 8 in the 12 months before, about 0.7 per month over 95 months on the store. All eight recent reviews are 5★. The themes have shifted: the 2019-2022 reviews describe the product (time saved, label output, setup friction with Swiss Post), while the 2025-2026 reviews are shorter and mostly about support speed, several from stores that had the app days or weeks. Setup friction (5146, 2022) has not recurred and later reviewers call implementation easy. The only criticism inside the last 12 months is the absence of full automation (8305, Sep 2025). The 3★ support-reachability complaint (0097) falls just outside the window, in June 2025.
