Multi-carrier labels and rates
ShippyPro ‑ Shipping made easy
Genuinely saves hours a week on bulk labels and tracking once it is set up — but price has climbed repeatedly, a 2024–2026 redesign made bulk shipping slower, and support is good on setup questions and poor when something urgent breaks.
Should you install it?
ShippyPro does the core job well: it pulls orders from Shopify and marketplaces, prints labels in bulk across multiple carriers, and pushes tracking back to Shopify — and reviewers consistently say that saves hours a week once configured. The risk is not capability, it is the commercial relationship and the current direction of the product. Expect repeated price increases on your existing plan (28→49→59 euro in a year for one merchant; €200/month for another), an auto-renewal that reviewers in 2023, Oct 2025 and Feb 2026 all say charged them when they did not want it, and a platform redesign that a four-year merchant says in Feb 2026 made bulk shipping slower and buggier. Support is genuinely fast and helpful for setup and routine questions, especially in Italian and Spanish, but the same corpus shows it failing on urgent technical and billing problems — and the developer once publicly asked a 1-star reviewer to delete their review. Before paying, confirm in writing that your specific carrier works end to end (Royal Mail, DHL and UPS customs fields all failed for reviewers, though not since early 2023), and check the cancellation and renewal terms.
Fair evidence. 77 reviews over 111 months is under one a month, and 48 of 77 come from Italy, so this reads mainly as an Italian-market product. Only 2 of the 15 reviews in the last 12 months are negative, so the current-risk themes (redesign, reliability, canned support, auto-renewal) rest on two reviews — they are the two most detailed reviews in the window and are corroborated by older reviews, but that is a thin base. Several recent positives are one-liners that carry little information, and one 5-star review's text is actually a billing complaint, so the star average overstates satisfaction. Returns functionality is too thinly covered to judge: one merchant praises the returns portal (8489) and one says returns cannot be managed (2778).
Right for
- Italian and Spanish stores — 56 of 77 reviews come from Italy and Spain, and support is praised specifically for replying quickly in Italian (8806, 5983, 1343)
- Stores selling on several channels at once who want one queue: reviewers name Amazon FBA, Amazon FBM and eBay (8235, 6210, 3106)
- Stores running more than one carrier account and tired of logging into each carrier's own portal (7732, 6210, 8781)
- Small teams doing high daily label volume — a two-person team says it handles 'a lot of orders everyday' (4156); one reviewer bulk-prints 150 labels in one run (8931)
- Stores that want tracking numbers pushed back to Shopify automatically and customers notified — cited as the single reason to install by several (5650, 2701, 9084)
Wrong for
- Stores outside Italy/Spain needing hands-on technical help — the sharpest support complaints are from Austria (3689), Germany (4228), Netherlands (0323), UK (8495, 5650) and Spain (5108, 5616)
- US stores — customer-facing emails are stamped in EU date format, which confused one US merchant's customers (7823)
- Anyone relying on a specific carrier being supported — verify it works before paying; Royal Mail, DHL and a Hong Kong courier were advertised but did not work (5650, 8495, 9684)
- Stores that edit orders after payment or run post-purchase upsells — changes made in Shopify after payment did not flow through (5616)
- Stores that ship one order as multiple parcels — only one of several tracking numbers was emailed to the customer (4228)
- Low-volume or price-sensitive stores — reviewers report €200/month, and 28→49→59 euro rises for a 250-order/month tier (5108, 4006, 5790)
- Stores needing bulk weight/dimension import on Shopify — a reviewer says this exists in the PrestaShop version but not Shopify (5458)
What will annoy you
Support is slow or unhelpful when the problem is urgent or technical; replies read as canned or bot-generated: 12 reviews, steady, last seen 2026-02.
How the developer behaves when it breaks
Replies to about a fifth of all reviews and just under half of negative ones, but the content is usually rebuttal rather than repair. To a 1-star reliability complaint they answered with uptime statistics and merchant counts (5108); to a price complaint they said the increase 'è stato necessario per adattarsi agli standard del mercato' (4006); to a bug complaint they said the cause 'sembra essere riconducibile al Corriere stesso' (8104); to a merchant who said returns were unmanageable they replied that returns are in fact supported and linked a help article (2778). Worst case: they told a 1-star reviewer 'we would also kindly ask you to delete this review' (8495). It does sometimes work — a Portuguese reviewer's request was answered with the exact setting and they edited the review to say it was fixed (4326), a UK reviewer's carrier problems were worked through until they upgraded to 5 stars (4993), and a weight-import complaint got a concrete Excel workaround (5458). The Feb 2026 reply to the most detailed recent negative was long and promised direct follow-up, but no outcome is visible (0323). Bilingual replies in Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and English.

Also 4228 - Heavy manual data entry at setup — no bulk weight import on Shopify, manual rate tables per carrier/zone 2 reviews fading, last seen 2020-03
“this app will not add weight to all products like in their PRESTASHOP app. That's a huge downside because there's no such thing as "automation" if I need to fill 1000 orders by hand” review 5458

- Shipping rules that auto-assign carrier and reduce manual sorting errors 6 reviews
“Interessanti funzioni per calcolare i costi e per creare regole di invio che facilitano lo smistamento.” review 7732

Red flags
- Subscription auto-renews and reviewers report being charged after they believed they had cancelled, with refunds refused. This thread is live, not historic: UK 2023, Spain Oct 2025, Netherlands Feb 2026. 8495 3416 0323
- The developer publicly asked a 1-star reviewer to delete their review after claiming the issue was resolved. Treat the star average as softer than it looks. 8495
- Prepaid shipment units expire at month end and do not carry over, so unused paid capacity is lost. Reviewer was told a one-month carry-over would 'never happen again'. 5650
- Repeated price increases on existing accounts. One reviewer went 28 → 49 → 59 euro/month within about a year for the same 250-order tier; another reports €200/month. 4006 5108
- Silent breakage: orders can sit unsynced and tracking numbers are not pushed to Shopify despite the order showing fulfilled, so you only find out from customer complaints. 5616
- A forced platform redesign that existing merchants say is worse for daily work; one merchant said in 2024 they would switch competitor if forced onto it, and the 2026 review confirms it shipped with bugs. 2847 0323
Trend
Volume roughly doubled in the last 12 months (15 reviews vs 7 the prior year) and the tone is mostly positive, but the content of that positivity has thinned: most recent 5-star reviews are one or two lines from long-tenure Italian stores praising speed and support, with little detail. The substance sits in the two recent negatives, which are also the two most detailed reviews in the window. The theme mix has shifted. Carrier-doesn't-actually-work complaints — the dominant failure of 2019–2023 (Royal Mail, DHL, UPS customs VAT, a HK courier) — have stopped entirely; last seen March 2023 and fairly called fading. What replaced them is the platform redesign: flagged as a risk in Feb 2024 by a reviewer who counted '3-4 click in più' (2847), and confirmed in Feb 2026 by a four-year merchant saying bulk shipping is now slower with persistent bugs (0323). Price complaints run continuously from 2020 to Jan 2026. Support complaints run continuously from 2019 to Feb 2026 and have changed character — earlier ones were about slowness (0663, 3689), recent ones about canned, copy-pasted replies (0323, 8104). Billing and auto-renewal complaints are the one thread that appears to be getting worse, with instances in 2023, Oct 2025 and Feb 2026.
