PostNord by SYNKA+

Swedish PostNord label printing that people love in week one and two long-term users rate 1★ over support — the reviews tell you almost nothing about what year two looks like.

Should you install it?

If you are a Swedish store shipping PostNord and you want labels and pickups handled inside Shopify instead of the PostNord portal, reviewers consistently say this does that job, and several say it worked after three or more competing apps did not. The setup experience is the app's real strength: fast, human, Swedish-speaking help, including evenings and weekends. The caution is that almost all the praise comes from the first days of use — 80% of reviewers had the app under a month, 8 wrote within 24 hours — while both reviewers with a year or more on it give 1★ for support that became slow, curt, or unhelpful, and the developer's single reply disputes rather than addresses it. Concrete limits to check before you install: no split orders across multiple stock locations, the app doesn't show which product was ordered, and you cannot cancel the subscription from inside the app. Budget for the possibility that the attentive onboarding does not continue, and confirm the cancellation path in writing before you commit.

Thin evidence. 30 reviews, only 4 with any negative or qualified content, and 80% written by stores with under a month of use — 8 within a day of installing, several naming the same support rep, which reads as solicited at the end of setup. Only 6 reviews come from a month or more of use, so there is essentially no evidence about reliability at volume, error handling, or what year two looks like. The two data points that do cover long tenure both point the same negative way, but two reviews is too thin to size the risk.

Right for

  • Swedish Shopify stores shipping with PostNord that want labels printed from Shopify instead of the PostNord portal (3312, 5402, 0022)
  • Non-technical owners who want setup done for them in Swedish, by phone or chat (9339, 5227, 6622)
  • Stores replacing another PostNord connector app that didn't work — several reviewers tried 3+ alternatives first (1030, 2351, 6317, 1557)
  • Stores needing bulk sync of all orders to PostNord at once (6317, 6846)

Wrong for

  • Stores holding stock in more than one warehouse that need to split an order across locations — a 4★ reviewer says this is not possible (8676)
  • Merchants who want to cancel or manage the subscription themselves inside the app (0204)
  • Anyone who needs to see which product an order contains from the app's own screen, e.g. many SKUs at the same price (8676)
  • Stores outside Sweden/Denmark, or shipping with any carrier other than PostNord — no other carrier appears anywhere in the reviews
  • Merchants who will need responsive support in year two rather than at onboarding — the only two reviewers with a year or more on the app both rate it 1★ for support (0099, 9135)

What will annoy you

Support quality collapses for established customers: multi-week reply gaps, curt or dismissive tone, and being redirected to a help page that doesn't answer the question. Both reviewers on the app a year or more report this; neither disputes that the app itself works.: 2 reviews, rising, last seen 2026-09.

How the developer behaves when it breaks

One reply across all 30 reviews (reply rate 3%), and it is to the most recent 1★ (0099). That reply is courteous but contests the reviewer's account — it states the developer responded the same day and asks the reviewer to get back in touch. The other 1★ about support tone and knowledge (9135) and the 2★ about not being able to cancel in-app (0204) got no reply at all. No review in the corpus reports a problem being resolved after posting, so there is no evidence either way that complaints lead to fixes.

Red flags

  • A customer with three stores and about a year on the app reports waiting 2–3 weeks between support replies (September 2026). The developer's public reply disputes this rather than acknowledging it. 0099
  • A near-two-year customer reports being told by support they didn't have time for them, and being sent to a help page that didn't answer the problem. 9135
  • Subscription cannot be cancelled inside the app — the reviewer had to say so publicly after 9 minutes. 0204
  • The developer has replied to only 1 of 30 reviews. No review in the corpus shows a reported problem being fixed afterwards. 0099

Trend

Volume is up — 14 reviews in the last 12 months against 7 the year before (about 1.2/month). Quality of signal changed with it: every negative review in the corpus is from the last 12 months (negative share 21.4% recently, versus none before), and both come from the longest-tenured reviewers rather than from failed installs. The themes shifted too — the 2024 and early-2025 reviews are almost purely onboarding praise, while 2026 brings the first substantive product limits (split orders and missing product detail in 8676, no in-app cancellation in 0204) and the first sustained support complaints. Nothing suggests the core PostNord sync has degraded; what's emerging is the service experience after the first month.
