Pickify ‑ Orders Picklist
A cheap, deliberately bare-bones pick list generator that saves real picking time and whose developer ships requested features fast over email — but it struggles with bundle SKUs and doesn't break a list down per order.
Should you install it?
Pickify does one narrow thing: turns a set of selected Shopify orders into one consolidated list of items to pick, printable or usable on a phone or tablet. Reviewers with a year or more of use say it is simple, cheap (two name $2/month) and doesn't break, and the standout pattern is a developer who answers support email within minutes and ships requested features — vendor sorting, grouping by product name — within weeks. The known limits come from one 2★ and a handful of 4★ "but" reviews: bundle SKUs aren't handled well, and the list is aggregated with no per-order breakdown, so it won't tell you which items belong to which order or produce packing slips. If you sell bundles or need per-order picking, test that first rather than trusting the star average. Note also that the developer's August 2025 public claim that vendor sorting shipped is contradicted by a review four days later.
Fair evidence. 22 of 29 reviews have text and recent volume is healthy, but a single negative review across the app's life means the failure surface is thin — most of what's known about limits comes from one reviewer. Four reviews came from stores using the app under an hour, and 34% from stores under a month, so the sustained-use signal is narrower than the count suggests.
Right for
- Small warehouses batching many orders into one picking round — one reviewer pairs it with a bin-location metafield to do a single lap of the warehouse (4391)
- Stores that want only a consolidated pick list and no other fulfilment features (5370, 6365)
- Pickers working off a phone or tablet rather than a printed sheet (7079, 5370, 4253)
- Price-sensitive stores — two reviewers name $2/month (3432, 0870)
- Stores picking loose single-SKU goods, e.g. a nursery collecting plants for a batch of orders (1059)

How the developer behaves when it breaks
Public replies are rare — 4 of 29 reviews (3416, 8652, 1879, 4253), and none on the single 2★ (1604). But the reviews themselves show fixes happening over email rather than in public: features requested and then shipped, sometimes with screenshots of the setup (7407), grouping by product name built on request (6392), "made it 100%" (1059), "app features have been updated to assist with our enquiry" (5526), plus 6410 and 1087. Where replies do appear they are specific and list what will change (4253, 8652). The gap: the two structural complaints with no public reply — bundle SKUs and per-order breakdown — are also the two with no evidence of a fix.

Red flags
- Developer reply of 2025-08-04 on review 3416 states vendor sorting is implemented, with setup steps; review 1604 four days later, from a store with 8 months of use, says "you cannot sort/edit the pick list in any way". Trend
16 of 29 reviews landed in the last 12 months versus 4 the year before, with no negatives in that window. The themes have shifted: 2023–24 reviews are largely about missing basics (print button, PDF images, list naming, small-screen layout) which the developer answered publicly and which no longer appear. 2025–26 reviews are about settled daily use — mobile/tablet picking, bin-location workflows, price, and support that ships features. The unresolved items (bundle SKUs, per-order breakdown) were both raised by merchants with long tenure and neither has been publicly addressed.
