ShipD Labels & Pickup points
If you ship from Czechia or Slovakia and need pickup points plus labels for several local carriers on one bill, this does the job and the developer fixes things within a day — but 42 reviews with zero negatives in 46 months tells you almost nothing about how it fails.
Should you install it?
This is a regional aggregator for Czech and Slovak shipping: pickup-point selection at checkout plus label printing for Packeta/Zásilkovna, PPL, DHL and Czech Post under one subscription, which reviewers repeatedly contrast with paying each carrier separately. The strongest and most recent evidence is about the developer rather than the software — merchants describe same-day custom code fixes, weekend and late-night replies, and problems closed out properly — so if you need a small set of local carriers working and will message the developer during setup, this is a reasonable install. Be realistic about setup: the most common story in the corpus is hitting an error during configuration and needing the developer to clear it, and the pickup-point map runs through Google API, which broke once after a Shopify platform update. The serious caveat is evidential, not functional: 42 reviews, zero negative, one public developer reply in 46 months, 43% of reviewers under a month in, 7 reviews with no text, and at least one 5-star the reviewer says she raised from a lower rating after support contacted her. Verify the carriers you actually need and your own checkout behaviour during the free trial, because these reviews will not tell you how the app behaves when it goes wrong at volume.
Thin evidence. There are no negative reviews at all, so every failure mode here is an aside inside a 5-star review rather than a complaint, and 'wrong_for' is largely inference from absence (no stated order volumes, 40 of 42 reviews from Czechia/Slovakia, no channel mentions). 43% of reviewers had the app under a month, 7 of 42 reviews are rating-only including 6-minute and 23-minute installs, one tenure field contradicts its own text (1280), and at least one 5-star is a converted lower rating (6007). Zero negatives over 46 months is missing information, not a clean bill of health.
Right for
- Czech and Slovak stores that need Packeta/Zásilkovna pickup points at checkout (4095, 8853, 8519, 1280)
- Stores that want several local carriers (Packeta, PPL, DHL, Czech Post) in one app rather than paying per carrier (4095, 8853, 7396, 0883)
- Small teams doing EU logistics for the first time who will need hand-holding and are happy to get it by message (3788, 7436)
- Stores that want to stop pasting carrier widget code into the theme (7436, 7396)
- Single-store or few-store setups; one reviewer runs it across 3 Shopify stores (1280)
Wrong for
- Stores needing B2B shipping features — one reviewer asks for them as a missing capability (8738)
- Anyone who needs to self-serve setup with no vendor contact: multiple reviewers only got working after the developer intervened (7436, 8853, 2378, 0608)
- Stores outside Czechia/Slovakia wanting proof it works at home: only 4 of 42 reviews come from elsewhere (Lithuania 2, Hungary 1, Romania 1), and two of those are rating-only (3513, 9874)
- High-volume or heavy-automation operations — no reviewer states an order volume, and the one who mentions automation says they don't use it (4311)
- Buyers who want to read how the vendor handles an unhappy customer in public: there are no negative reviews and one public reply in 46 months (7235)
What will annoy you
Setup often does not complete without the developer stepping in — errors during configuration are the most common story in the corpus, always resolved, but do not plan on a self-serve install: 7 reviews, steady, last seen 2026-06.
How the developer behaves when it breaks
There is exactly one public developer reply in 46 months: a 2022 thank-you on a 5-star review (7235). There are no negative reviews, so there is no public evidence of how complaints are handled. What the corpus does show, consistently and recently, is private responsiveness reported by merchants: a same-day code fix when DHL was added (8853), a weekend fix after a Shopify update broke the Google API map (2378), late-night replies (3961), weekend replies (8738, 8467), and one case where the developer stayed involved until the root cause was identified (0608). One reviewer states she raised her original rating after dealing with support (6007), which is the clearest sign that the unbroken 5.0 is partly the result of problems being resolved around a lower rating. 'Honza' and 'Jan' in these reviews are the same person.

Red flags
- Silent breakage risk from a third-party dependency: the carrier map runs through Google API and stopped working after a Shopify update, with the merchant unable to tell where the fault lay. Patched the same day, but it broke in production (2378), and a second store hit a Google Maps problem in the same period (0608). 2378 0608
- No public record of how the developer handles a complaint: 42 reviews, zero negative, and one public developer reply ever — a 2022 thank-you to a 5-star review (7235). Every 'they fixed it' account is the reviewer's own report of private contact, not verifiable in the listing. 7235
Trend
Volume has climbed sharply: 28 of the 42 reviews landed in the last 12 months versus 5 in the prior 12, about 2.3 a month. Content shifted with it. Reviews up to mid-2025 frame the app around Packeta/Zásilkovna (8519 'Best app for Packeta clients', 1280; 2113 still hoping for more than Packeta). Reviews from 2026 name PPL and DHL (8853), Czech Post (5007) and 'all Czech carriers' for one price (4095), so the multi-carrier positioning is recent and reviewer-confirmed. Two themes appear only in late 2025/2026: Google Maps / Shopify-update breakage (0608, 2378) and Europe-wide rather than purely domestic use (3788, 7396). The writing is longer and more specific in the last year, but still zero negatives, so nothing has changed about what the reviews cannot show.
