NimbusPost‑ eCommerce Shipping

Whether this works is an account-manager lottery: get an engaged KAM and shipping runs smoothly, get an absent one and you are arguing alone about weight-discrepancy charges and money you cannot withdraw.

Should you install it?

NimbusPost is an Indian courier aggregator whose software people generally like — the dashboard, multi-courier booking, WhatsApp notifications and SKU/zonal reports get praised — and whose commercial operation is where the risk sits. Half of all reviews, and half of the last twelve months', are negative, and they concentrate on two things: weight and dimension charges raised after delivery that reviewers say are wrong and that disputes do not overturn, and money (COD remittance, wallet balances) that is held or does not arrive. The difference between the happy and furious reviewers is almost entirely whether they got an attentive named account manager; several negatives name the same onboarding contacts as unreachable after signup. Developer replies are boilerplate pointing at a support email, with little evidence of resolution and one reply giving a misspelled address. If you try it, keep a second courier live, reconcile wallet and COD statements weekly, and photograph and weigh every parcel from day one.

Fair evidence. Only 50 reviews, and the positive side is contaminated — eight 5★ in five days in July 2025 plus two 5★ from stores with minutes of use — so the star average tells you little. But the weight-discrepancy and held-money complaints are specific, independently written, carry concrete figures (Rs 67,000, 51Kg billed on 1Kg, Rs 20,000) and span July 2023 to September 2026, which is well evidenced on its own. What I cannot judge from these reviews: which couriers are actually behind the labels, what any of it costs, or how it performs at volume.

Right for

  • Indian D2C stores that get an active named key account manager — every strongly positive review credits a specific person chasing AWBs, not the software (6008, 3868, 0752, 5840)
  • Sellers who want one panel with several couriers, WhatsApp buyer notifications and SKU-wise/zonal reporting, and who are fine with the operational risk (6117, 6121, 8994)
  • Stores already on another Indian aggregator looking for cheaper rates, who can keep a fallback provider live (1903, 5919, 2943)

Wrong for

  • Sellers shipping goods where a re-measured weight would wipe out margin — post-delivery discrepancy charges are the single most repeated complaint across all three years, with figures like Rs 67,000 blocked and 51Kg charged on a 1Kg parcel (6342, 9946, 0035, 8127)
  • Anyone whose cash flow cannot absorb COD remittance or wallet balances being held, unexplained or unwithdrawable for weeks (2994, 2989, 0402, 5514)
  • Small sellers with no leverage in disputes: reviewers report a 24–48 hour window to contest while couriers get two weeks to 45 days (9001, 8535)
  • Merchants also fulfilling Amazon orders through the same panel — one reviewer says discrepancies were raised on Amazon shipments and funds held against future discrepancies (5076)
  • Anyone outside India — all 50 reviews are Indian and no reviewer mentions international shipping

What will annoy you

Weight/dimension discrepancy charges raised after delivery, with disputes decided in the courier's favour and seller evidence rejected — reviewers cite Rs 67,000 blocked, 51Kg billed on a 1Kg parcel (1600035), Rs 20,000 written off (1410041) and freight at 2x the quoted rate (1258127): 11 reviews, steady, last seen 2026-09.

How the developer behaves when it breaks

Replies go to 56% of negative reviews and are near-identical boilerplate signed "-AT": an apology plus "please write to hello@nimbuspost.com" or "your concern has been escalated". No reply describes what was actually wrong or what was refunded. One reply gave a broken address, helo@nimbuspost.com (9946). Where we can see what happened next, the escalation did not land: the reviewer at 5076 edited their review specifically to answer the reply — "I have already dropped email many times since last month ,not sure what team is doing" — and 7448 says the company only acts when a bad review is posted. The one visible success is 5514, who edited upward to 3★ but still reports wallet money vanishing. 44% of negative reviews, concentrated before 2025, got no reply at all.

What it does well 4 themes

  • A responsive named key account manager, when you are assigned an active one — AWB follow-ups, callbacks, RTO chasing 14 reviews
“Sakshi actually takes ownership, is always available, calls back with updates, and does strict AWB follow-ups. We’ve seen a clear drop in RTOs because of this.” review 6008

“From WhatsApp notifications to clean, SKU-wise and product-wise reports, and detailed state-wise/zonal performance analytics” review 6117
  • Rates cheaper than other Indian aggregators, with several couriers in one account 5 reviews

Red flags

  • Your money can be held: COD remittance withheld without a stated reason, wallet-to-bank transfers not arriving, and balances held in advance against discrepancies that have not happened yet 5514 5076 2994 2989 0402
  • Billing surprises after the fact: weight/dimension charges raised days or weeks after delivery, with the seller's own weight and dimension evidence rejected and the dispute closed for the courier 6342 9946 1977 0041 0888
  • Support silence after onboarding — multiple reviewers name the same onboarding contacts (Gautam, Sujit/Sujeet) as reachable before signup and unreachable afterwards 5773 7448 0402 5076
  • Developer replies point you to an email address; one reply gave a misspelled one (helo@nimbuspost.com), and one reviewer says the reply arrived only because the review was posted 9946 7448 5076
  • Review integrity: eight 5★ reviews landed in five days (11–15 July 2025) on an app that otherwise averages one review a month, five of them naming a specific employee in full; two of those 5★ reviews are from stores that had the app for 1 and 2 minutes 2010 0540 6117 6121 5840
  • Terms of service change forced through with a non-functioning decline option, blocking panel access until accepted 2224

Trend

Review volume halved (12 in the last 12 months vs 25 the year before) but the negative share did not move: 50% both periods. Nothing has been fixed. Weight-discrepancy complaints run unbroken from July 2023 (1603) to September 2026 (6342); support-unreachable complaints to April 2026; RTO and lost-parcel complaints to April 2026. The severe COD-hold complaints cluster in mid-2025 and the only 2026 money complaint is milder (5514), which is the one area that may be improving. Two of the recent-looking positives are edits of older reviews — 9275 (Feb 2026) and 7430 (Oct 2025) both carry developer replies from early 2025 — so they are not fresh 2026 endorsements. The genuinely new positive signal in the last 12 months is thin: 6008 and 3868, both crediting one named account manager.
