LVK Logistics
Reviewers loved the named support reps and hated the warehouse — and since the newest review is December 2024 under a different brand name, nobody can tell you how it runs today.
Should you install it?
This is a 3PL, so the app is the least of it — you are handing a warehouse your stock. Through early 2022 reviewers were consistently happy, and the praise is almost always for a named support rep who chased problems personally. From mid-2022 through 2024 the reviews describe the warehouse failing in a consistent, mutually corroborating pattern: orders sitting unshipped for weeks, inventory going missing, ship weights and invoices inflated in the vendor's favour with refunds the merchant has to chase, live chat and phone support removed, and a $500/month tech fee applied retroactively to small merchants with no way to exit quickly. Several sellers report Amazon account damage from late dispatch and invalid tracking. The deciding problem for you is that nobody has reviewed this listing in over 20 months, it now trades under a different name, and the positive base looks solicited by support agents — so you cannot verify from reviews whether any of this was fixed. If you are considering it, ask directly and in writing about dimensional-weight disclosure before shipping, the tech fee, load balancing and split shipments, returns and RTS handling, liability for unscanned parcels, and how fast you can get your stock back.
Thin evidence. The 2022-24 negatives are detailed and corroborate each other, which would support medium confidence about that period. But the question is whether to install now, and there are zero reviews in the last 12 months, a brand change from ShipHero to LVK that only one review bridges, and a positive base that two reviewers say was solicited by individual support agents and that includes 5★ ratings written after 10 minutes and 3 hours of use. That combination will not support a confident current judgement.
Right for
- US-based stores leaving self-fulfilment for the first time, who valued getting off the post-office run more than tight cost control (5147, 3722, 7283, 5147)
- Small, simple catalogues with light, uniform, non-bulky items where flat-rate pricing is predictable (0447, 5147)
- Overseas brands (UK, AU, CA) wanting a US warehouse to shorten domestic delivery times (3016, 0839, 0364)
- Merchants who mainly need a responsive human to chase individual order problems by email, and can tolerate slow warehouse execution (1823, 8215, 3635)
Wrong for
- Stores shipping anything bulky: dimensional-weight cost was not disclosed until after the parcel shipped and could not be passed to the customer at checkout (7668)
- Sellers whose Amazon or Etsy account health depends on on-time dispatch and valid tracking — suspensions and invalid-tracking strikes are reported (5217, 3345, 5620)
- Anyone who needs customer returns or return-to-sender handling: the newest review says return labels were switched off with no notice and there is no RTS process (3236)
- Smaller merchants below roughly $100k/month in shipping spend, who were hit with a $500/month tech fee regardless of usage (2011, 7757, 2522)
- Merchants who need a phone number, a named account manager, or same-day answers — support narrowed to an email ticket queue with multi-day to two-week replies (0074, 0563, 0453)
- Brands that cannot tolerate one customer order arriving as several separate shipments, or that want stock held in a single warehouse without a 5% per-order surcharge (4011, 0453)
- Anyone who needs to be able to pull their inventory out quickly (0074, 4011, 2011)
What will annoy you
Orders sitting unshipped for days to weeks, SLAs missed, receiving backlogs causing stockouts: 14 reviews, steady, last seen 2023-10.
How the developer behaves when it breaks
Replies are frequent on negatives (stat: 71%) but templated: an apology, an assurance the Client Support team is aware, and a redirect to fulfillment@shiphero.com (7757, 5615, 2011, 8439). Watch the dates — several replies predate the review they sit under because they answer the earlier, positive version of an edited review, so they do not address the complaint at all: 4011 (1★ Mar 2023) is answered by an Apr 2022 reply thanking the merchant for a shout-out, and the same mismatch applies to 5620, 3345 and 8439. Where merchants report back, the outcome is usually unchanged: 0563 says the rep 'has been wonderful in the past' but nothing changed over two months; 5611 says promised refunds never landed. 8439 is the one case describing eventual resolution. Replies appear to stop after September 2023 — the most recent review (3236, Dec 2024) got none.

Red flags
- A $500/month tech fee introduced after merchants had already sent stock in, with a refusal to waive it during a 60-day wind-down; one store was billed $1,000 while not using the service and refused a refund 2011 7757 2522
- Billing errors run in the vendor's favour and are the merchant's job to detect and petition; a 30-day claims window in the Terms of Service was used to refuse older claims 5620 8439 5611
- Loss of goods sits with the merchant: parcels with no carrier scan and packages lost in transit were not reimbursed 4011 5611 8439
- Inventory lock-in: withdrawal quoted at up to 30 days because stock had been spread across warehouses; one merchant was told part of their inventory had been thrown in a dumpster 0074 4011 2011
- Support channels were removed mid-relationship — live chat and phone disappeared, leaving email tickets only 0453 0074
- Reviewers report suspecting their stock was resold by third parties on Amazon, and two merchants state they are taking the company to court 5611 5613
- Developer replies appear to stop after September 2023; the most recent review, a detailed 1★ from December 2024, has no reply 3236 8439
Trend
The important fact is the silence. The newest review is 31 December 2024 — over 20 months ago — and there are zero reviews in the last 12 months. The listing is now branded LVK Logistics, but roughly 89 of the 90 reviews describe ShipHero Fulfillment; only the newest one bridges the two names ("DO NOT SHIP WITH SHIPHERO ' LVK"). So this corpus documents a predecessor operation, not necessarily what you would be buying. The arc within it is clear: 2019 through early 2022 is almost uniformly positive, concentrated on support reps and onboarding. From mid-2022 the character changes sharply and several long-tenured 5★ reviewers return to rewrite their reviews as 1★ (1452, 4011, 3345), citing the same cluster — late shipments, lost inventory, overcharges, support reduced to email. Do not read the recent quiet as improvement: there are no newer reviews to show the problems were fixed, and the last data point available is a 1★ that raises a new failure (returns labels withdrawn without notice, no return-to-sender process) rather than closing an old one.
