iPacky | Pick Pack & Fulfill
If you pack your own orders and keep shipping the wrong items, this stops that cheaply and the founder will build what you ask for — but expect a plain interface, a few hours of setup, and uninstall it if you are only trialling, because the monthly fee starts once your store passes 50 orders a month whether you use the app or not.
Should you install it?
This is a narrow, well-aimed tool: it makes your packer scan every item against the order before it ships, adds bin locations and pick lists, and leaves labels to Sendcloud, Starshipit or Webshipper. Roughly fifty reviewers across six years say their mispicks went to near zero, and reviewers from 2020 through 2026 consistently report the founder answering directly and shipping requested features within days ([7039], [8740], [5565]). The recurring complaints are cosmetic and procedural, not functional — a dated interface and a genuine setup curve, both raised by five-star reviewers ([7266], [0282], [8632]) — and no negative review has landed in the past twelve months. The one real warning is billing: it keys off your total Shopify order count including POS, so a merchant who left it installed unused for a year was charged and refused a refund ([3224]); uninstall it if you stop using it. Reviews say nothing about marketplace channels, carrier rate shopping, or behaviour at volumes far above the 4,000 orders/month one reviewer reports, so judge those yourself.
Fair evidence. 131 reviews, 130 with text, six years of history and many multi-year tenures give a solid read on what it does and how the developer behaves. But only 2 negatives exist, so failure modes are thinly evidenced; one same-day near-duplicate pair, one admitted solicited review and 17% under-one-month tenure mean the positive picture is somewhat inflated; and recent reviews are shorter and less specific than the older ones.
Right for
- In-house fulfilment teams with a mispick problem who want a scan-to-verify gate before the parcel leaves ([8632], [0857], [7757], [7590])
- Warehouses that need bin locations and location-sorted pick lists so new staff can find stock ([7039], [3131], [4754], [4673])
- Merchants moving fulfilment in-house from a 3PL, or setting up a second Shopify location ([3131], [7600], [9411], [5131])
- Stores already using Sendcloud, Starshipit or Webshipper for labels and wanting pick/pack in front of it ([8632], [9835], [8116], [5369])
- Multi-packer operations that need per-packer accountability, timings and reports ([9725], [2154], [6045], [8833])
- Sellers of kits, bundles or serial/lot-tracked goods, via virtual barcodes and metafields ([9632], [5633], [8995], [8878])
- Non-English warehouse teams — reviewers report Norwegian, German, Italian and Spanish use and support ([5694], [5202], [2590], [2496])
Wrong for
- Anyone expecting a polished, Shopify-native-looking admin; happy reviewers still call the UI clunky ([7266], [0282], [4673])
- Merchants who want it working in ten minutes with no configuration ([8632], [6054], [9491])
- Stores wanting to trial it passively — a dormant install still triggers the monthly charge above 50 store orders ([3224])
- Anyone needing multi-channel fulfilment from Amazon, eBay or Etsy: no reviewer mentions shipping from any marketplace
- Merchants wanting carrier rate shopping or label buying inside the app — labelling is always described as handed to another platform ([8632], [1690], [6018])
What will annoy you
Setup takes real configuration effort; the number of settings overwhelms people at first: 5 reviews, steady, last seen 2026-05.
How the developer behaves when it breaks
Replies to about 9 in 10 reviews and to both negatives. The substantive pattern is that feature requests get built fast and are then confirmed by the reviewer: a bin-location-clears-at-zero-stock feature "within just a few days" ([7039]), a new order-status function in 48 hours ([8740]), shipping-label scanning "within hours" ([5565]), an inventory-remaining display added on request ([8833]). Onboarding and demo calls are offered ([0553], [8088], [9580]). Two caveats: billing disputes are argued rather than settled — the reply to [3224] defends the charge and refuses the refund — and replies sometimes lag or arrive in batches, e.g. [8632] reviewed 18 May 2026 and answered 22 July 2026, and a block of 5 Feb 2026 replies clearing reviews from October-December 2025.

Red flags
- Billing is driven by your total Shopify order count, not your usage: one merchant was moved onto $19.99/mo after their store passed 50 orders in a month (POS orders counted) while the app sat unused for almost a year, and the developer refused a refund and argued the point publicly in the reply. Only one reviewer reports this, and many others call the pricing fair, but nothing in later reviews suggests the mechanism changed — uninstall rather than shelve it. 3224
Trend
Volume is slowing — 18 reviews in the last 12 months against 23 the year before, roughly 1.5/month — but quality has held: no negative reviews at all in the last 12 months, and the two negatives on record are from October 2023 and April 2024. Content has shifted. The 2020-22 reviews are long essays about eliminating picking errors and getting features built on request; the 2025-26 reviews are shorter and increasingly about bin locations, stock organisation and moving fulfilment in-house from a 3PL ([7039], [3131], [7411], [4754]). The live complaints are now soft ones — dated UI ([7266], [0282]) and setup effort ([8632]) — not breakage. One reviewer specifically confirms it held up through Q4 2025 peak ([8878]).
