A free-to-start, no-frills Australia Post label printer that small Australian stores find fast and simple; the near-perfect star rating is inflated by prompted new-install reviews, so trust the specifics, not the 4.96.
Should you install it?
If you are a small Australian store shipping with Australia Post and you have (or will open) a MyPost Business account, this is a simple way to stop re-typing orders: a few clicks per label, bulk runs, saved box sizes and flat-rate satchels, and tracking pushed back to Shopify. Reviewers consistently say it is fast, and that your own MyPost Business pricing carries over. Expect friction in a few places: printing a label auto-fulfils the order and notifies the customer, there is no cost export, weight/size overrides trip some people up, and there is no confirmation before a label is purchased. It covers Australia Post only, so it is not a multi-carrier tool. Treat the 4.96 rating cautiously, because a lot of reviews come from brand-new installs after in-app prompts, and the few complaints that exist (support silence, 'it doesn't work') got little or no developer follow-up.
Fair evidence. The functional descriptions are specific and consistent across 552 text reviews, but the star rating is inflated by prompted short-tenure reviews (36% under a month), so the real failure rate is unknown. There is only one 1-star, with no detail, and one 5-star that was edited into a complaint.

How the developer behaves when it breaks
In 2023-2024 the developer (Ian / Bitnext) answered almost every review, mostly with a one-line 'thanks'. Where a reviewer raised a real request, the replies were specific and often fixed it: a no-save box option shipped within a day (6096), the batch limit went from 48 to 120 the next morning (9460), and the June 2026 own-packaging bug was fixed by the developer (6174). Some requests were declined with a reason (confirmation button 9771, A6 international labels 9773). In 2025-2026 replies are sparse and usually say 'contact us by email' (9062, 8285, 7798, 3051). The 1-star 'it doesn't work' (4680) and the support-silence complaint (5586) got no real reply.

Red flags
- The star average hides problems. One 5-star review (5586) was edited to say support never answered and orders couldn't be processed for hours, and the developer's canned 'Great to hear' reply is still attached. The only 1-star ('it doesn't work', 4680) has no detail and no developer reply. A developer reply on 7798 ('there is a misunderstanding as to how the app works') sits under a now-positive review, which suggests the original review was a complaint that was later edited. 5586 4680 7798

Volume is rising (385 reviews in the last 12 months vs 274 in the prior 12) and negativity stays near zero (0.3%). Early reviews (2023-2024) talk about beta status, direct help from Ian and the app being free. Recent ones focus on speed, flat-rate satchels and the free/unlimited basic plan. Critical text in the last year is small: auto-fulfil on print (May 2026), a June 2026 own-packaging bug fixed in July, weight override requests, and review nagging (Aug 2026). Developer reply rate has dropped sharply since 2024, and the only recent 1-star went unanswered.
