Ship OS
If you ship domestically in Israel and want your courier wired into Shopify with hands-on Hebrew-speaking setup help, reviewers say it works — but the review record is almost entirely praise, so you cannot tell from it what happens when shipments go wrong.
Should you install it?
For an Israeli store that ships domestically with a local courier, the reviews consistently describe the core job being done: orders sync, a shipment/label is created from the Shopify admin in seconds, home delivery and pickup points both work, and the customer gets tracking. Support is the most-mentioned strength — 21 reviewers describe fast, patient help, often by name — and about a dozen reviewers have been on the app for 3 months to nearly 2 years, so this is not only first-week enthusiasm. The counterweight is one 1★ from April 2024 [8067], from a store that had used it a month: labels misrouted, packages returned after weeks, refunds paid, pickup-point numbers missing, and no help when asked. That review is more informative than any of the 5★ reviews written within hours of install, and the developer never replied to it. Two things the reviews simply cannot tell you: what the app costs (no reviewer mentions price) and which carriers are actually supported — only Tapuz is named, everyone else says 'our shipping company'. Ask the vendor for the carrier list, the pickup-point data fields, and the escalation route for a misrouted shipment before you commit.
Thin evidence. 30 of 31 reviews are 5★ and a third come from stores under a month old on the app, several praising installation rather than shipping outcomes, which suggests some solicitation; and the entire failure record is a single review from 29 months ago that the developer never answered, so there is no usable evidence of how the app behaves when something breaks.
Right for
- Israeli Shopify stores shipping domestically with a single local courier they already use
- Stores offering both home delivery and pickup-point (נקודות חלוקה) delivery, where the customer picks the point at checkout [9560] [2019] [7376]
- Merchants who want the integration configured for them and prefer support in Hebrew over documentation [7706] [5077] [2019]
- Small operations replacing manual re-keying of orders into a courier portal [9889] [2257] [6434]
- Stores that want tracking/notification emails to the customer handled by the shipping app [4826] [5948]
Wrong for
- Anyone shipping outside Israel or cross-border — all 31 reviews are Israeli stores and no international carrier is mentioned
- Stores that need a named, verifiable carrier list before installing: only Tapuz is named [6144]; everyone else says 'our shipping company' or 'all the major companies' [0299] [2225] [4308]
- Merchants who need to know the cost before installing — not one of the 29 text reviews mentions price, plan limits or billing
- Buyers who need evidence of an escalation path when shipments fail: the one store that reported failures got no public reply [8067]
- Multichannel sellers — no reviewer mentions shipping from anywhere other than Shopify
What will annoy you
Labels that did not work: packages circulated the country for weeks and were returned, costing the store refunds; pickup-point data was incomplete (missing the pickup point number): 1 reviews, fading, last seen 2024-04.
How the developer behaves when it breaks
One public reply across 31 reviews (3%), and it went to a 5★ review thanking them for the recommendation [0299]. The single 1★ [8067], which described weeks of misrouted packages and refunds the merchant had to pay, was never answered publicly. Against that, 21 reviewers describe fast private support by chat/phone, some naming staff (Matat [4826], Amit/עמית [9889] [6144]) and one saying a setup question was solved 'within minutes' [7706] — so responsiveness appears real in private channels but there is no visible handling of failures.

Red flags
- The only negative review — a store that says it lost money on refunds because labels misrouted packages — received no developer reply, while a 5★ review two years later did get one [0299]. Nothing public confirms the fault was fixed. 8067 0299
- Review pattern is near-uniform praise (30 of 31 at 5★) with a third of reviewers under a month on the app, including one written after 7 minutes that praises installation help rather than any shipping outcome. 5077 5629 3022 5337 2257
Trend
24 of the 31 reviews landed in the last 12 months (about 2 per month) against 3 in the year before, and all 24 are 5★. Themes in that window are the same as earlier ones — automatic order-to-shipment creation, pickup points, and support speed — plus one new mention of auto-generating a delivery document on payment confirmation [1882]. The only negative is from April 2024 and nothing like it recurs, but the developer never answered it, so treat the failure mode as unrepeated rather than proven fixed. Long-tenure reviewers (1 year [3535] [5948] [7294], almost 2 years [3464]) keep returning positive.
